The Urban Poles
I chose Kensington Market as the primary site for my photography data collection because it reflects the vibrant urban life of Toronto. As a cultural melting pot, the neighborhood radiates a distinctive artistic energy. The graffiti, posters, and sticker slap art throughout the area strongly express its creative identity. By documenting over 30 street poles covered in layered visuals, I captured a dynamic snapshot of Kensington Market’s diverse cultural landscape.
