Life Below Water

This project focuses on Goal 14: Life Below Water, one of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, in the context of Canada’s marine and freshwater ecosystems. Through a campaign poster, zine, and short animated film, it highlights the urgent need for ocean conservation, pollution reduction, and sustainable fisheries. Using data visualizations, photography, and artistic design, the project examines issues such as plastic pollution in Canadian waters and the decline of marine biodiversity while advocating for policies that protect Canada’s aquatic ecosystems and coastal communities.
